The Royal Observer Corps were the ‘eyes and ears of the RAF – they tracked aircraft – and not just over land.

In the build-up to the Normandy Landings, the Royal Observer Corps were called on to monitor all the aircraft involved – enemy and allied. Find out more about the remarkable civilians who played a key role in the liberation of Europe.
