Henry VIII’s European Queens: The Spanish Infanta and The Flanders Mare – Sunday June 9th @11:30am

One was one of the most educated women in Europe, raised to be Queen and in many ways, Henry’s equal. The other had none of the qualities Henry sought, yet both married the English king and both had their marriages annulled.

Historian Kindra Jones explores the series of events that led to these two women to tie their destinies to the English throne and she will end with a demonstration on how to dress as a Tudor Queen.

The event starts at 11:30am and admission is £6.50, concessions £5, children free.
