A Tudor Christmas Concert with festive afternoon tea: Sun 8th December

de Mowbrays Musicke

Enjoy a late afternoon concert followed by a
Christmas themed afternoon tea.

de Mowbrays Musicke will be entertaining us with a seasonal mix of songs and dances from Tudor times.
They play a variety of reproduction historical instruments to create the sound and atmosphere of England as it was in the late 16th century. Many of the instruments from that period have a magnificent sound. Their instruments range from quiet renaissance recorders, through to the curiously curved crumhorn to loud shawms and English bagpipes, with the odd plucked-string instrument thrown in.

Sun 8th December, 4pm – 5pm followed by a festive afternoon tea.
