Although you can't visit us right now, you can still explore the Guildhall's fascinating story.

With the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Bury St. Edmunds Heritage Trust has created a brand-new visitor attraction and community hub from one of Bury St. Edmunds’ oldest buildings. The Guildhall complements the already existing attractions in the town, whilst at the same time being the place to discover Bury St Edmunds, both past, present and future.

A heritage and cultural experience for local residents, families, community groups and tourists that will keep them coming back time and again. It is not be a museum, an archive or a heritage centre but a “travel through time” experience that hosts activities, events, workshops and exhibitions that tell the untold story of Bury St. Edmunds like nowhere else.
